GRANNY CABIN SEW ALONG
The Granny Cabin Quilt Pattern was one of my best releases yet! The love and excitement for it makes it even more fun for me to get to sew it together with you! The pattern is super beginner friendly, we tackle strip piecing and nested seams. It is Fat Quarter, Jelly Roll and scrap friendly! I will be sewing a JR version in the Throw Size which finishes at 58" x 58" - feel free to make whatever size you'd like.
DATES: September 16th - October 21st
DURATION: 6 weeks long
QUILT SIZE: Throw 58" x 58" (make what you'd like)
SCHEDULE: This quilt can go together super fast if you want but I am making it a casual pace as everyone is getting back into the routines for fall, no pressure sewing is the best!
Week 1: We will talk color placement + how to pick fabrics for this design (should give you time to order fabrics if you don't have yours already)
Week 2: Cut, Label + make a test block
Week 3: Sew all A Blocks
Week 4: Sew all B Blocks
Week 5: Make C Units + catch up if you are behind
Week 6: Sashing + Sew your top together
