I am so excited to share that I am going to be hosting my first ever quilt along! YAY! My Sienna Burst Quilt Pattern is one of my most popular patterns and it happens to be my most "involved" one making it the BEST pattern to break down week by week.

The Sienna Burst Quilt Pattern is a fun Intermediate skilled pattern. It is block based and a mix and match FQ quilt that finishes at 68" x 68". You can size up and down as you see fit though if you want to make a different size.
The quilt along will be carefree and pretty casual as it is the first one I have ever hosted! (Wish me luck!) I will be hosting the quilt along through a Newsletter, a few blogposts and Instagram.
The Sienna star block has a couple different techniques. The ever amazing half square triangle (HST) and it's more difficult sister block the half rectangle triangle (HRT). A quilt along is the perfect place to help break down these techniques and answer questions along the way!

THE DATES: MARCH 5th, 2018 to APRIL 23rd, 2018.
THE DURATION: 8 weeks
HOW TO FOLLOW ALONG:

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
I will be using the following fabrics:
Kona Cotton - White
16 FQs - Blueberry Park by Karen Lewis Textiles
You can also use 1/4 yard cuts. I will include a cutting diagram of it during Week 2.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
Week 1: Prep, Order (Plan) Fabrics, Plan Quilt Top with the "Color Your Own" Diagram.
Week 2: Cut all your fabrics. Make test HRTs and learn the tricks to trimming.
Week 3: Make 4 blocks.
Week 4: Make 4 blocks.
Week 5: Make 4 blocks.
Week 6: Catch up on your blocks.
Week 7: Make final 4 blocks and make sashing.
Week 8: Sew your top together! Then move on to quilting it yourself or send it off to be long armed.
