Champagne Quilt - The Baby Blue One

Champagne Quilt - The Baby Blue One

I am back with the last Champagne quilt today! If you haven't caught up on all the Champagne Quilts we made for the pattern release, here ya go!
My pattern editor really likes making a sample of the quilt while editing the pattern. It helps her understand the flow of the quilt, the process, etc. So typically she makes a baby quilt while editing and this is the one she made.
I really wanted a fun bold and saturated background with a lighter chain as I hadn't shown this option yet. I also wanted to use what I had on hand in my house to not order more fabric.
Here is the mock up I made for my editor so she knew how the quilt should look at the end.
I picked up this quilt top on the way to dropping quilts off to my longarmer so I have zero photos of the quilt top. Karlee of Sewinspired2day suggested Pretty Petal as the pantograph for this baby quilt and I loved the idea!
I bound the quilt in a Carolina Gingham Coral in a 1" repeat and it turned out so fun! The Baby Champagne Quilt finishes at a 45" square.
I really love how this beautiful quilt turned.
The Champagne Quilt Pattern is out now!
