We are back to my Christmas version which was actually my first "test" quilt for this pattern. I picked up some of the cutest fabrics from Modern Domestic here in Portland. It is a mix of FIGO Wintertide fabrics, Spark basics from Ruby Star Society and an old Cotton + Steel print.
This was the perfect fabric to "test" the quilt because it uses directional prints and I really wanted to make sure I could provide instructions on how to use them. There was A LOT of talking out loud when cutting this quilt. haha
I love this wall near my neighborhood. The concrete wall is just to the left of the painted blue wall. Two backdrops in one!
Because this is a Christmas quilt with some fun whimsical prints I wanted to have a fun panto design to go along with it. I chose this modern snowflake panto. Also my husband picked out red and white strip binding because it's like candy canes. He did a good job.
