I've said it before and I will say it forever, star quilts are my ABSOLUTE favorite quilts to make. There are about 1 million sawtooth star quilt tutorials and patterns out there and so of course I made one more! haha
Whenever I need a quick sew, a satisfying sew, an easy mindless sew or just a creative exercise sew, I make a star quilt. I love flying geese so my favorite quick star is the Sawtooth Star block.
This Offset Star Quilt Pattern is written for FQs that hopefully you most likely already have in your stash but you can easily use your scraps as well!
If you are new to quilting or need some new supplies, here is my Amazon shop of all my favorite quilting items.
My inspiration for this free pattern came in the Fall of 2018, right before Christmas. I needed a "for fun" projects and wanted to use some of my Christmas inspired prints. I just pulled what I had from my stash and made the stars deeper colors and then used all low volume fabrics for the background of the blocks. I will write a separate blogpost soon about that quilt because I just finished it... a year and a half later. ;) But here are a few pictures for now.
And now, here is my FREE Offset Star Quilt Pattern! The quilt measures a 60" square when finished, which is a great throw size!
